NEON will be participating in the 2021 meeting of the Ecological Forecasting Initiative Research Coordination Network.
This 2-day meeting will focus on developing and/or improving educational materials for ecological forecasting. Although not limited to, we hope these educational materials will leverage and be informed by forecasts submitted to the EFI RCN NEON Ecological Forecast Challenge. We will specifically focus on ways members of the EFI community can incorporate the production of educational resources into forecasts they inform, produce, or already use.
Join us for an intensive three-day, hands-on, remote workshop and learn how to create, use, deploy, and share analyses of NEON AOP data using the CyVerse platform.
The NPN is hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop phenological models in support of ongoing efforts to create a continental-scale forecast of mosquito activity.
With the transition of AAG 2020 to a virtual meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Access and Work with Open, Continental-Scale Data from NEON workshop will also be virtual. Participants will get an introduction to accessing and using NEON data in this workshop.
We're excited to join you at this year's Ecological Society of America (ESA) Annual Meeting that will be held entirely online. There will be over 30 NEON-related events at ESA 2020. Due to this year’s virtual format many of the events will consist of a recorded presentation that can be accessed anytime during the meeting and a 30-minute virtual live Q&A session with a NEON scientist.
The 15th ArcticNet Annual Scientific Meeting is being held December 2-5, 2019 in Halifax, Canada. Interact with scientists working on the NEON program throughout the meeting and learn more about Sustainable Observing: Examining the Logistics and Infrastructure Required for Long-term Research in a Changing Arctic.
NEON is seeking proposals for the Macrosystems Biology and NEON-Enabled Science (MSB-NES) Research on Biological Systems at Regional to Continental Scales program. Submit your proposal by January 16, 2020!
