2021 Entomological Society of America Meeting

Several NEON scientists will be participating in the upcoming Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of America, 31 Oct - 3 Nov 2021. 

NEON scientist-led events:

1. Talk: NEON’s invertebrate monitoring efforts - presented by Dr. Sara Paull Wednesday, November 3, 2021 9:45 AM – 10:00 AM MT
2. Workshop: Accessing and Working with NEON Invertebrate Data - led by Dr. Stephanie Parker and Richard Lehrter Sunday, October 31, 2021 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM MT

About the meeting:

"Entomology 2021 will be a hybrid meeting with both in-person and virtual presentations as part of our scientific program. The Annual Meeting will combine four days of an in-person meeting with 3 months of virtual content available for all registrants to access from October 20, 2021 through January 31, 2022, allowing us to reach members all over the world, regardless of travel.

The Colorado Convention Center and the Hyatt Regency Denver (our headquarter hotel) will serve as our host site for this year’s Annual Meeting. Registration and Housing are now available for Entomology 2021.

Our opening plenary session will feature evolutionary biologist Dr. Joseph Graves, Jr. and our founders’ memorial lecture by Dr. Vernard Lewis will honor Dr. Margaret Collins. Both presentations will be featured in our livestream for the virtual audience as well as our program symposia and our Awards sessions."
