NEON Signs MOU With CzechGlobe
September 27, 2013
NEON has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CzechGlobe (Czech Climate Change Research Center) to achieve international goals of interoperability by linking research questions and requirements, algorithmic processes, the traceability of measurements, and the broadly defined area of informatics. CzechGlobe and NEON share a number of areas of focused scientific observation: ecosystems, carbon, remote sensing, and technical innovation, including remote sensing capabilities.
Members of CzechGlobe visited NEON Headquarters in September to sign the MOU and conduct further planning.
CzechGlobe is an integral part of several other continental-scale research infrastructure entities in Europe, such as the Integrated Carbon Observing System (ICOS), Analysis and Experimentation on Ecosystems (ANAEE), and CoopEUS.
