Rob Guralnick is Curator of Biodiversity Informatics in the University of Florida's Department of Natural History and the Florida Museum of Natural History. Guralnick's interdisciplinary work centers on global change biology using a variety of different approaches, that often combine tools from macroevolution and macroecology. He often uses data sciences approaches to synthesize environmental data coming from multiple sources including from community scientists. He also has been involved in the creation of tools to increase the quality, availability and utility of large scale datasets for global biodiversity synthesis.
