About Guy

Guy Litt holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from University of Wyoming. A couple years spent living in rural Panama inspired his doctoral research, which focused on the impacts of land use change upon runoff flow pathways within the Panama Canal Watershed. Guy’s dissertation research employed a multitude of hydrological, geochemical, and geophysical tools to better understand the hydrologic system. His experimental efforts helped inform hydrologic model development for integration into a multidisciplinary payment for ecosystem services framework. The overarching project goal was to assist Panama Canal Authority decision makers with watershed management. Back in Wyoming, Guy developed his skills in open source computational tools for data analytics. Guy’s research interests fall into the connection between interdisciplinary field experimentation and computational tools.
