About Keli

Keli holds a Ph.D. from Utah State University. Her doctoral research examined how the presence of lakes within stream networks can alter nutrient and dissolved organic matter (DOM) dynamics and temporal variability within mountain watersheds, and the subsequent influence on downstream ecosystem functions. Keli earned her M.S. at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, where she studied the effects of pine plantations on stream structure and function. Her research combines biogeochemistry, aquatic ecology, hydrology and landscape ecology to evaluate spatial and temporal controls on nutrient dynamics and retention in watersheds.
