Kate graduated from the University of National Champions aka University of North Carolina with a double B.S. in Environmental Science and Geography with an emphasis in Infrastructure and Design and a minor in Marine Science. After graduation, she contracted through USGS and US EPA, focusing on measuring nutrient fluxes in aquatic systems and geographically representing their distribution. At NEON, she provides geospatial support to terrestrial and aquatic teams.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, disc golf, racquetball, and any kind of water sport.
