Earlier this month, while most of NEON's science staff was soaking up the science at the Ecological Society of America's Annual Meeting in Portland, our Airborne Observation Platform team was in Massachusetts, working with researchers from the Rochester Institute of Technology to collect vegetation structure and chemistry data in Harvard Forest. New York public television reporter Marie Cusick (one of the NCAR Journalism Fellows who paid us a visit last month) caught up with our team and RIT's and put together a great story about their work:
