KMZ polygon flight boundaries (areas) for the field sites NEON will survey with the Airborne Observation Platform. These files include flight boundaries for aquatic and terrestrial field sites at all sites in NEON Domains D01 to D19. Flight boundaries are assigned either a high (Priority 1), medium (Priority 2) or low (Priority 3) acquisition priority providing airborne sensor operators with greater flexibility in the event poor weather conditions prevent 100% data collection coverage during the scheduled deployment to a given site.
Have you tried to access NEON data but remain a bit confused? Use this downloadable visual guide that walks viewers through how to access data through the NEON data portal and a few related resources for working with NEON data.
The NEON data portal remains in dynamic development. This visual guide will be regularly updated.
Since August 2018, the primary NEON Biorepository is being developed at Arizona State University. Therefore the policy also remains in development. This downloadable pdf is a draft of the full policy.
