This two-day, fully funded workshop for graduate students provides an introduction to NEON. During the workshop, participants will learn how to access and work with NEON data through hands-on interactive activities using the data portal and the data API. Attendees will also have opportunities to tour the headquarters facility and interact with NEON's science staff.

Funding will be covered for all travel and workshop costs. All coding instruction during the workshop will be conducted in R.  All participants are expected to have some coding experience. Participants using other programming languages are welcome to attend, however, instruction and assistance in the language may not be available.

Eligibility Requirements

You must be a current graduate student at an institution in the US or a US citizen at an international institution (however, international travel cannot be funded).
