Boulder Workshop Logistics

All workshop participants will need to bring their own laptop with them to the event.  Please see individual workshop pages for any additional software/hardware that may be required.

LOCATION

All aspects of the course are held at the Battelle-NEON headquarters in Boulder, Colorado.

1685 38th St., Suite 100
Boulder, CO 80301

HOUSING

Depending on the workshop you are attending housing and/or travel may or may not be arranged for you.  If you are unsure about your specific workshop, contact us.

Housing Provided - Your workshop acceptance paperwork includes information on how to make travel and housing arrangements.

Housing Not Provided - Participants are responsible for finding their own housing. Given the variety of housing options that participants have used in the past, we do not reserve a block of rooms at a hotel. Boulder offers a wide variety of housing options. All participants in workshop received a link to a housing coordination document in their acceptance email.  Please use the document to help coordinate shared housing if desired.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation to/from Denver International Airport (DEN)

The RTD AB1/2 route runs directly between DEN and Boulder. Transit time is roughly 1 hr and the cost is ~$10.50 (see below for more information on bus passes, some passes include airport transit). Please note that if you pay on the bus, you must pay cash and the drivers can’t make change. However, there is also a ticket booth at the airport and you can purchase tickets through their app.
