Following the migration of Shortwave Radiation (primary pyranometer), DP1.00022.001, to NEON’s new data processing system, shortwave radiation tables have been temporarily removed from Summary Weather Statistics, DP4.00001.001.
The shortwave radiation tables will be absent from Summary Weather Statistics for all provisional data and the full data history in RELEASE-2026 (to be issued in late January 2026). Shortwave radiation tables generated from the old processing pipeline will remain in Summary Weather Statistics in RELEASE-2025 and past releases.
We expect the work to reinclude shortwave radiation tables, as well as weighing gauge precipitation tables, in provisional data of Summary Weather Statistics to begin in the first quarter of 2026 and be completed before the end of June 2026. The full data history of these tables is expected to be reincluded in Summary Weather Statistics in RELEASE-2027.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as NEON continues to migrate data processing to the new system. An update on this issue will be provided before the end of June, 2026.
