We previously identified an issue with unusually high values for a subset of Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC) concentrations published in Chemical properties of surface water (DP1.20093.001). The affected samples were collected from the two Domain 07 sites, Walker Branch (WALK) from June 2018 to July 2021 and LeConte Creek (LECO) from September 2019 to May 2021. All other analytes in the data product were deemed to be of sufficient quality. We have completed the investigation and determined that these values are sufficiently suspect to be removed from the data portal. The affected data will be removed starting with RELEASE-2025. Because data releases are static versions that are intentionally persistent, these data will remain in RELEASE-2024 and earlier releases.
