From Data to Decisions: Strategies for Translational Communication of Complex Data to Decision Makers

The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON), Association of Ecosystem Research Centers (AERC), and the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory (SREL) are converging February 9-12 for a workshop entitled, “From Data to Decisions: Strategies for Translational Communication of Complex Data to Decision Makers.” The workshop is focused on improving the ability of scientists to engage in translational communication with stakeholders about scientific data and data products. Workshop discussions will explore different stakeholder perspectives on translational communication and characteristics of effective communication. 

Due to constraints on venue size and limits on the numbers of attendees that can participate effectively in the workshop exercises, the workshop attendance is limited to AERC member representatives (or their designee), select NEON staff, and SREL faculty/guests.
