Project BudBurst
Project BudBurst is a nationally recognized citizen-science plant phenology program that engages people from all walks of life to help monitor changes in plants through the seasons. In 2016, Project BudBurst transitioned to the Chicago Botanical Gardens and is no longer a part of NEON. It is still a thriving citizen science project.
