The "AI Unlocked: Empowering Higher Education through Research and Discovery" event enables researchers, educators, and students to learn how to integrate AI tools in research and classroom settings. The event is a series of talks and tutorials that provide the tools and resources for applications of AI.
The event is supported by ACCESS, an advanced computing and data resource program through the U.S. National Science Foundation, and by the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR) Pilot.
NEON will be providing a session on Jun. 3 titled "From FAIR to FAIR4AI: Open Science and Data Readiness for AI in Research." The session will bring together researchers, data stewards, educators, and AI practitioners to explore the concept of FAIR4AI, which extends FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data principles to emphasize metadata richness and the clarity needed for AI readiness.
