Ashley earned her B.S. (2008) from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Wildlife Ecology and Management and her M.S. (2013) from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay in Environmental Science and Policy. She spent the early part of her career working with a variety of wildlife species, including deer, grouse, bats and invertebrates for a variety of organizations including federal agencies, state agencies, universities and a private wildlife rehabilitation facility. In 2014, Ashley began working for NEON as a Field Technician leading the small mammal, soil and invertebrate sampling protocols. In 2025, Ashley moved to the role of Field Operations Manager for the Great Lakes (D05) domain, operating out of Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin.
Ashley lives on a small hobby farm with her husband and daughter in Northern Wisconsin and enjoys horseback riding, camping, kayaking, snowshoeing and hiking.
