CAREER: Interactive Effects of Land Cover and Climate Change on Forest Carbon Sequestration: Integrating Research and Education to Advance Fundamental Science and Inclusivity
This project will be conducted at the Climate Interactions with Forest Fragmentation Experiment (CLIFF-Ex) at Harvard Forest and investigates how forest fragmentation and climate variability interact to influence forest carbon and tree water use dynamics. Battelle, through the NRSS, is providing subject matter expertise in UAS operations and DeLeaves canopy sampling, including flight planning, coordination, and FAA-certified pilot support to enable safe and compliant canopy foliage sampling.
