About Kristin

Kristin is the Field Science Manager for the Northeast region of the NEON project. If you are interested in collaborating with NEON for work in the Harvard Forest, the Bartlett Experimental Forest, or at Hop Brook please feel free to reach out, and Kristin can help facilitate the process. Additionally, please contact Kristin for questions regarding employment in the Massachusetts office.

Kristin received a B.S. in Animal Science with a minor in Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. After serving two years in the Peace Corps in Ecuador, she returned to New England and received an M.S. in Conservation Biology from Antioch University New England. Kristin focused her studies on conservation medicine, and spent several years working with large non-profit and governmental organizations to improve the health of wildlife populations. Kristin has conducted wildlife research in South Africa, the Caribbean Sea, South America, and the U.S.
