About Katie

Katie is an insect ecologist interested in understanding how changes in species identity (i.e., invasive species introductions) have effects on species interactions. Katie earned a BS from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts and a PhD from the University of California, San Diego. Her previous work focused on role of invasive species in the context of mutualisms, particularly the larger ecological effects of invasion on plant-pollinator interactions.
