NEON field sites KMZ file v.15

This KMZ file contains point locations for NEON terrestrial and aquatic sites including tower location, terrestrial field sampling and aquatic sampling. It also includes NEON Domain boundaries and can be opened directly in Google Earth.

NEON field sites shapefile v.15

This shapefile contains the point (X,Y) locations of NEON field sites. It can be opened in a GIS program like QGIS, ArcGIS or a programming language like R or Python using GDAL libraries. Coordinate Reference system: Geographic WGS 84.

Shapefile of NEON's Terrestrial Observation System (TOS) sampling locations

A shapefile including polygons and point location information (e.g., state, county, NEON domain), point geocoordinates, and GIS-derived land cover classes and soil types at locations where NEON terrestrial sampling occurs. It can be opened in a GIS program like QGIS, ArcGIS or a programming language like R or Python using GDAL libraries. Coordinate Reference system: Geographic WGS 84.

2016 DRAFT AOP flight boundaries

DRAFT flight boundaries for the 42 field sites that NEON will survey with the AOP in 2016. Surveys will cover aquatic and terrestrial field sites in the following nine domains: D01, D02, D03, D05, D06, D07, D08, D09, D11.
