Request Airborne Data
NEON's airborne data are collected by an Airborne Observation Platform (AOP) -- an aircraft platform carrying remote sensing instrumentation designed to achieve sub-meter to meter scale ground resolution, bridging scales from organisms and individual stands of vegetation to satellite-based remote sensing.
Depending on the type of data you request, we will either provide a user account for you to access an online repository of airborne data or we may send you a hard drive of the data. We are constantly adding new datasets to our online repository, so once you have an account, you will be able to explore and download data as they become available. Please note that if you require a hard drive, you will be responsible for returning all digital storage hardware to NEON within 30 days of receipt. If you have questions or comments, please email the AOP team.
